  • Athletes are categorized to a race according to their age on the day of the race.
  • To be able to tick this box (i.e. Resident of Gozo), the athlete must be a Gozo resident and nationality should be Maltese. Prior to the award of a Gozitan resident trophy, the athlete may be asked to present his/her ID card as proof of eligibility.
  • Nationality should be the nationality on the passport. Prior to award of a foreign resident trophy, the athlete may be asked to present his/her passport as proof of eligibility.

Voucher

€1200 of vouchers redeemable at Teamsport will be available to the top three athletes of each category.

In summary the vouchers are split as below:

  • Half Marathon

    • 1st Male overall (€140), 2nd Male overall (€115), 3rd male overall (€95)
    • 1st Female overall (€140), 2nd Female overall (€115), 3rd Female overall (€95)

  • 10K Race

    • 1st Male overall (€105), 2nd male overall (80), 3rd male overall (€65)
    • 1st Female overall (€105), 2nd Female overall (80), 3rd Female overall (€65)

Medals

A special, locally-designed commemorative medal will be awarded to each race/walkathon participant who crosses the finish line.

Goody Bag & T-shirt

ALL the participants applying for any of the Gozo Half Marathon Races/Walkathon shall be awarded a goody bag. This can be collected from the Teamsport retail shop. Further details will be sent once you apply.

For the Half Marathon, 10K Race and 10K Walkathon the goodly bag will include the race number, race timing chip and a commemorative technical product.

For the Kids 4K Race, Kids 2K Race, Family 2K Run, Family 4K Run the goody bag will include the race number, race timing chip and a gift.

Additionals

For every athlete finishing the race, a bag containing water, Gatorade isotonic drink, fresh fruits and other snacks will be handed out to assist athletes in energy recover after a challenging race.
